Florian's story: working in an exciting 24/7 environment

My job is providing information to customers of Schiphol airport. The work varies a lot because I can use my German lingual skills and because of the fact that I get more and new knowledge concerning the airport all the time. I regularly have to deal with unexpected things that happen at the airport and in which it is my task to provide information to clients in the right way. My working hours vary between 6 in the morning and 12 at night and we are open 7 days a week ( also during national holidays)! In the beginning I had to get used to this, but now I like it. When I start early, I still have the whole day in front of me when I finish work. And when I work in the weekend, I have some days off during the week. I not only help customers via telephone, I also have contact with customers via e-mail and social media. Social media is different and new and my work varies a lot because of these different ways of customer contact.

You can count on a flexible job if you work at Arvato. Both full timers and part timers work with us. We also offer flexitime. We are available to our customers between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. In this way, you could, for example, work mornings or start later. We can together see what works best for you. You know in advance where you stand so you can plan your activities.

You also get the chance to develop. In addition to phone calls, you might also do back office work. Or maybe you would like to move to another team or function within the company. And, if you wish, you can also get your MBO diploma with us (during working hours).
In any case, what a job at Arvato gives you is valuable work experience. And with that, you have plenty of opportunities for furthering your career, within and outside our company.
